On Thursday we enjoyed a day full of Halloween activities. We read stories about Halloween, played a build your own monster game, and in math we created Halloween graphs. In the afternoon we paraded around the school to see everyone's costumes, and then spent some time with all our Open Area friends.

On Friday Mrs. K did a building from clues activities, where she one by one, took objects from a story out of  a basket for us to look at. Together we predicted what we thought the story might be about. The boys and girls had such interesting ideas abut what the story could be about! Then Mrs. Kristensen showed us the story which was about Day of the Dead and how people in Mexico celebrate their ancestors.

We also had iPad time and learned how to use the iPads to take photos of each other  using the the Photo Booth app and some props.
