After enjoying some free play in the forest, we were given the task of creating a structure the could float. We discussed the properties of some of the materials we could use in the forest, and then set out in small groups to begin building. After some trial and error and exploration of how we could best use the materials collected, we tested our "rafts" in the nearby creek!
