Welcome back, everyone! The boys and girls were so thrilled to see each other yesterday and to share stories about their spring break adventures. We wrote about our experiences in our journals.

In Outdoor Learning we read a story about, and discussed the signs of springs. With our clipboards, we went on a neighbourhood walk looking for some signs. Our walk led us into the forest where we had free exploration and checked on the leprechaun traps that we had made before spring break. We could hardly believe it, the leprechaun's managed to eat the bait, yet many of the traps remained in tact! How did they do it?!
Today we had fun doing math centres which were designed to reinforce some of the math concepts we learned in term 2.

This afternoon, Marga came to visit us. Marga has become a friend of the school's over the past few years as she comes to deliver chicken eggs each spring to the Open Area. Over the next few weeks we will observe the eggs in the incubator and then watch them hatch in 21 days.

Please make sure that you check our blue homework bags tonight. Our CARD Projects are finished and available for order, should you choose to do so. All ordering information is in the card already. Orders are due APRIL 18. Our cards were inspired by Chengdu, the panda.
