In math we have been practicing our "friend's of 10" strategy for solving addition facts. We have played "how many are hiding" which is a game that helps us to count up and memorize the friend's of ten partners. (ex. 6+4, 3 +7, 1+9).

Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit Loutet Farm for the first time since the fall. There were so many changes to be observed. We started with a scavenger hunt so we could explore the entire farm, greenhouse and shed to become more familiar with our surroundings. Then Farmer Michael took us foraging in the garden. We tasted dandelion leaves and other greens that were growing. We were all very brave in trying the different plants that we found. We also learned some safety rules around foraging and the importance of having an adult there before you try anything.
