After all the excitement of yesterday's Halloween Parade, we had a quieter day today. We wrote all about our Halloween adventures in our journals. The children are learning how to use a sentence frame (ex. On Halloween I...) and to add their own ideas to finish the sentence. We are working on writing from left to right, on the provided lines, with finger spaces between words. 

    This morning we also got to go visit our grade 7 buddies in Mrs. Dolan's class. The boys and girls were so thrilled to spend some more time with our big buddies who have been wonderful mentors for us. We made paper poppies to decorate the front bulletin board for next week's Remembrance Day Assembly.
