It was a Fun Day, but it was also a hot one! We had a great time learning our team cheers, and performing them for the rest of the school. After recess, we circulated to different stations like bubbles, hockey shoot out, face painting, musical chairs, and more.

  In the afternoon we had a hula hoop contest and watched the Grade 7s in their annual tug o war, followed by the water balloon toss. The day ended in the gym enjoying Gord's Guitars. We saw and heard so many different types of guitars! Gord played Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, ACDC, and so many more great songs for us!

  Yesterday's field trip was also a success. Our teacher- artist, Amelia, toured us around the gallery and had us look closely at the work of Canadian artist, Tikko Kerr. Then is was time to go into the studio where Amelia helped us make reframed collages, just like Tikko Kerr!
