This has been an exciting week! We spent much of our time reading Halloween stories, creating scary artwork, and writing about all things Halloween.
On Tuesday we took our math work outside, and walked around the neighbourhood to check out all the houses that were decorated. We took tallies of how many ghosts, witches, spider webs etc. we saw on our walk, and then shared our results.

On Wednesday morning we visited our Grade 5 buddies and created a spooky witch's brew with dry ice. We took turns adding various items like toy mice, "lizard tails", and even and old shoe!

The same afternoon we participated in the Halloween Parade and then gathered in the gym with the entire school to learn the Thriller dance.
