We learned how to write the letter "s" on whiteboards, and sang along with a fun song that helped us to remember the sound that "s" makes."
After recess some children shared their Bio Bags and we all had many questions about the artifacts they shared. We are so eager to get to know each other better. Mrs. Kristensen was very impressed with how attentively we listened to those children who were taking their turn at sharing.
After all that sitting it was time to move! We sang and danced along with a pattern rap on the Apple TV.
Then Mrs. K gave each group a tray of loose parts, and asked us to create a pattern go our own. Some us even made growth patterns!
The morning ended with music class and more singing and dancing.
After lunch, we shared more Bio Bags, finished our "David's," which were based on the picture book "David Goes to School," played outside with our open area friends, and had a visit from Mrs, Sparks, our school counsellor.
