In math we have been exploring part/part/whole relationships to better understand the concept of addition. Today we made parking lot stories to help us see how objects in addition are combined.

We have been reading books about Lunar New Year, and how and where it is celebrated. The boys and girls have especially enjoyed learning about the differences between Western and Eastern dragons, and the significance of eastern dragons for the Lunar New Year. We drew, painted and outlined dragons of our own, and will be adding the final touches over the next few days.

Last Friday, we had our final tennis lesson with Markus. He commented on how far we had all come in such a short time, and the boys and girls agreed that they too noticed how much their tennis skills had improved. Here are a few pictures of all the fun we had..
