Today we said "goodbye" to summer with an end of the season celebration. We read several books about summer, and even began creating a class book called "Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall."
  The boys and girls enjoyed silent reading and having lunch on their beach towels, collecting data
and creating bar graphs for "favourite ice cream flavours", and ending the day outside with frisbees, beachballs, skipping ropes and, of course, watermelon!
