Dear Grade 1s,
Another week has gone by and I miss you all more and more each day. I loved seeing you over Zoom though; it was the highlight of my week!!
Thank you for sharing photos of your work and all the of things you are doing at home.
I loved all your incredible ideas for the "Safe At Home Challenge!"

Many of us have been keeping ourselves busy, finding lots of new things to do.
Andy has been planting; his carrots are sprouting! He even has an eagle's nest in the tree across the street. Andy told me he thinks that babies have hatched there because he can hear them chirping.
Finley has found lots of cherry blossoms on his walks this week. He said it reminds him of confetti!

Camden lost another tooth!

Daniel has been making slime. Check out the Kenojuak drawing that he did from the Artist's For Kids link that Mrs. K sent earlier this week. Isn't it gorgeous?

Charlotte has found some signs of spring in her yard!

Ollie has invented a new game and has written the rules down. Wouldn't it be fun to play it at Outdoor Learning one afternoon?

Look at Aria's beautiful drawing and her paragraph about birds!

Many of you completed the "green" concept web as well. Did you recognize the voice of the teacher who read The Green Line? Look at all the different ideas everyone had. I am very impressed by the sounding out you did to spell all these words.

Please keep sending me pictures!
Love,
Mrs. Kristensen
