Happy Valentine's Day, or "Valentime's" as we seem to call it in Grade 1! Today was full of fun from a pancake breakfast, to listening to stories about love and friendship, and, of course, exchanging Valentine's cards with our friends.

 In the afternoon, the children brainstormed all the reasons they may need to write a list in their daily lives (a list for Santa, a birthday party, a grocery list, a list of supplies they may need for a project etc.). Mrs. Kristensen then read a story about 100 things to love, and we wrote our own lists called "Things I Love..."
