On Monday we ventured out into the forest for our first Outdoor Learning afternoon. We took some time to have free play and explore the forest. We learned how to use the space and the materials within it safely and purposefully. Afterwards we gathered at the story log read  Everyone Needs A Rock. The story was about the "rules" for how to find a rock that is perfect just for you. Then we head down to the creek to find that perfect rock!

On Tuesday morning we were excited to meet our Grade 5 buddies in their classroom. We listened to a hilarious story called Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving by Dav Pilkey. Our task was then to create a disguise for a turkey so that they won't get eaten this Thanksgiving. Some of us disguised our turkeys as mermaids, ninjas, football players and ballerinas. Please fell free to come by the class to have a look once they are complete!
